Hi!

I'M currently using a IPAQ Pocket pc (HP 6500), and I have a Bluetooth Access Point (Belkin f8t030 Print Server + Network Access).   We are running a Homemade Application (Written in C#.net) and use a Oracle database.  When we try to SYNC the oracle CE data, if we dont click on bluetooth manager / and manually click "Connect" on the Belkin LAN acces, we got error Host not found.  The Oracle CE sync programs do not try to connect to the network before trying to sync.

It's because when you go out of range of the bluetooth acces point, the network connection state is not active anymore.  And when you get back "in range", it does not "connect" automatically.  By the way bluetooth is always activated.

How can I get this to work? Is there some kind of c# function that could chekup if connection is "Active" and if not, Connect to the Belkin Lan acces point?

Thanks :0)

Jeff

Welcome to Geekzone... Unfortunately there's no automatic reconnection for Bluetooth as implemented on Pocket PCs. You have to manually connect it when you want to use the feature.

Ok thanks for the reply;) I hope there is a way to active the connection in c#.net, but I have no clue about how to do it.
