Hi

after lengthy conversations with tech support for my phone (UK - T-Mobile MDA PRO Windows mobile 5.0) I managed to get active sync 4.01 to sync on my home computer (running XP Home).
But I cannot get active sync 3.8 to see my phone at all on my work station (windows ME) I am running Zone alarm / AVG antivirus and have shut these down whilst downloading and setting up active sync and soft reset the phone.

Anyone got any ideas (apart from getting rid of ME!)

Could my phone not connect because the software is not connectable to an earlier version of active sync?

Thanks in advance

why are you not also running 4.0.1 on your WindowsME machine?

Ah!
then it is as I feared the dreaded ME strikes again, I shall have to byte the bullet and upgrade to XP.

Thanks for all your help.
