I am trying to use a website that requires IE 5.5 or higher. I saw in the review that I could:

"edit the string that identifies the browser to HTTP servers, so you can go around those scripts which allow only certain versions of browsers."

How do I edit this string to allow me to visit this site?

When using the Netfront full version (not the demo) you will see an Advanced option where you can create a few different strings, and select which one to use during any browsing session...

I am looking through the options and can not find the option you are referring to. There are several tabs at the bottom of the browser settings page: General, View, Network, Helper, Security and Misc. I checked all the advanced settings and do not see where to create a new string.

Any more help in finding that tool?

This was announced today... The trial is available for free, limited to 45 days. It will be available for purchase at the end of the month.

One of the limitations of the trial version (listed on the download page) is "You are not allowed to edit a user agent."

I think this answers your question, right?

I have installed the full version 3.2. I can now edit the "user agent". I just don't know enter into the fields that are given.
