lokhor: That's insane. how many will end up on TM?

As long as the markup isn't too excessive, I wouldn't have a problem buying one from TM.

Yeah I'd pay $200 + shipping, that's still $60 profit for the seller.

Would expect to see them for $500+ to be honest.

I don't think anyone will buy them then. Average going price on Ebay seems to be ~$200-250 USD

Yep i would expect them at that price which is way overkill,

Someone would have got their hands a few just to resell, I understand its a open market but if someone snapped up 20 - 30 to resell then that sucks a little :(

Definitely not interested at that price. I reckon $200 for the 16GB and $250 for the 32GB models (+ shipping, of course)

Yes but this is trademe we are talking about, everyone is in it for the profit.. you wont find them cheap, not until people are desperate to get rid of them

+1

I would more than happy to pay for 1 on trademe if it's at that price, but the pricing will probably be more in the 299 to 349 range.

If it goes too high I would just get an Ipad.

People might try to sell them off at a high price but once people realise that they aren't getting a sale the prices will drop.

the price in nz was 139/207 expect 300/400 due to way lower stock and some Australian buyers looking I'll be planning on some in tm for 300 min anyway

Yes but Americans are much more skilled with Ebay and pricing within reason than Kiwi's are with Trademe.
