lokhor: Do Tiger Direct ship to NZ?

They're pretty big, I'd imagine they would. I'm sure I've heard of them shipping here at one stage.

dclegg: I have started dialog with Mobicity. Their online sales rep advised me they can offer me a wholesale price for 5 or more, but he didn't know what that is. I've emailed their sales team. Note: I am specifically interested in the 16GB model, and this is the model I indicated in my sales enquiry.

Mobicity have indicated that the order can be paid for seperately, but I would imagine they may all need to be shipped to the same address. I am happy to forward any on, but will have to insist on postage fees up front first. Alternatively, I live in West Auckland, and work from home. Anyone who is interested is welcome to pick up to save themselves postage (although I think its only fair that any postage costs incurred by Mobicity is split evenly across all buyers).

I have also asked for an indication on the maximum that can be ordered.

If anyone is interested, please let me know. DM or dclegg at gmail dot com. I will report back on progress, once I get a reply

Thanks for the response guys! Can I please request that all further requests are sent to dclegg at gmail dot com? Its easier to manage them that Geekzone DMs. In the interest of fairness, if there is a maximum we can order, I will be servicing requests in a first come, first served basis.

Also, some have indicated that they want to pay a little extra to say thanks. This is NOT necessary in any way. Lets just see what Mobicity come back with, and we can all hopefully benefit from the same decent price.

I've decided, for practicality reasons, to cut the list off at twenty requests from users. For those of you who have asked for multiple units, if Mobicity do place an upper limit, I may have to look at only supplying one unit per user.

I've still not heard back from them, but will keep you all posted as soon as I do.

EDIT:
Here is the list as I currently have it. If you have contacted me, but don't see your name there, please shoot me an email dclegg at gmail dot com. I'd also appreciate it if any who DMed me if they could also email me, including their geekzone username.

Hopefully Mobicity can offer a better price.

Nah, you're all good good two places... oh wait, another email, one place left. Will post the list for verification once I have it. If I've missed anyone (and it is confirmed), the upper limit may be a little elastic :-)

Here is the list of 20. Where possible, I've used your geekzone login name. Unless specified, I'm assuming the request is for 1x16GB model. Can you please review and let me know if you see any glaring errors?

I will fall back to 2x16GB or even 1 unit if that is what's left.
