Hi

I am very new and not sure if this is where my question goes but ... here goes ... I have numerous voice recordings on my HTC Harrier and I want to remove them.  The manual only shows how to record but not remove.  When I phoned Telecom NZ they were unsure and directed me to this website. Harrier is not connected to phone but linked to my PC. Any help required.  Thanks.

Welcome to Geekzone... Do you have those recordings in the Notes application? If so, then you can select the recording(s) and tap-and-hold the selection. A menu will show up and one of the options is "Delete".

Another option is on your Pocket PC open File Explorer and browse to \My Documents. The recording files will be there, and you can do the same.

A third option is to plug the Apache to your PC, and simply open File Explorer and you will see the Pocket PC in the list as another "drive". Open it and you can delete the files, copy and paste, etc.

I doubt most 123/126 CSR's have used a Harrier or any Pocket PC for that matter before, so for these sorts of questions it’s not really surprising. A trip to a retail store should have solved this, as retail staff really have no excuse on this one.

BTW it's true, Telecom do recommend Geekzone as a good source of technical information!

Cheers
