Dkeeper: GW2 Server..

Is there a popular server for New Zealand players associated with GW2 ?
Maybe one that covers East Australia/NZ/West USA with a low ping rate..

Sea of Sorrows is the unofficial oceanic server.

I'm on Denova's Rest because Sea of Sorrows is full at the time I joined.

I'm TheFirstKel.1256 with Norn Engineer at Lv17 at the moment.

Just realized that the computer spec might be a little off topic on the thread title, so sorry if that was an incorrect place to comment.. Guess I should have sent a private message.

People in GW2 - do they use an in-game voice program for speaking while in groups or raids or do they use a third party program such as say Ventrilo?

I don't think there's in-game voice chat system. Beside most people are using Ventrilo as far as I know.

I do wish that the GW2 has support for gamepad, I logged in to FFXIV last night for a laugh and amazed that the realm is empty - not surprise, the impending doom for A Realm Reborn - and I can use wired Xbox360 controller with it. Feels so much better and not a lack of control (other than typing out chat).

Just got on the Sea of Sorrowes server in GW2 and was wondering 1.) how do you get info on the different guilds and 2.) which SoS guilds have lots of Kiwi's?
Hope to get a good few hours play on Sunday... Cheers!

For the AU/NZ guild on Sea of Sorrows, try add kelpweed.9215 as she's in.

I'm installing Windows 8 pro tonight, and the only thing im annoyed about is having to reinstall all my games again. With windows 7 they were all install on the 2nd and 3rd drives i know i can just start up WoW and carry on playing like normal with out having to reinstall but don't know if Guildwars 2 i will be able too. And im hoping all the games will run fine on 8.
