So I turned on my PS3 today and went to see whether anything took my fancy in the store and found I had to download it again but it appears to be a whole new store.

Anyone else got it? So far it seems much more in line with what it should have been. Searches are easy and navigation (once you've fiddled with it a bit) it pretty straight forward.

No idea if there is anything new as I don't really spend much time in the store anyway.

Looks the same to me but then again I used the UK/European store so not sure which one the NZ one falls under?

It apparently only updated the other day for select EU areas and NZ, and AU so it might not be updated for you yet. It is about 25mb and you'll know it been updated as it is in the 'metro' style and considerably different in appearance to what the store has been for years.

It is easier to navigate and it looks nicer, it also sounds better strangely enough. Took quite a bit longer to load than normal but hoping this was because it was the first time opening it.

There are reports of the store being slow due to the influx of users trying it out. When I first got it it was as fast as the old store with no problems, now it is definitely slower but at least I can still use it.

If you've got something in your shopping cart that you wish not to buy how do you remove it?

I've got battlefield 3 accidently in there, and belong to playstation plus. It won't let me download anything due to insufficant funds,

I signed in, signed out, deleted playstation store none of which work bf3 remains in cart.

I can't see a clear or empty shopping cart button anywhere.

Sent email to sony.

You go into cart, highlight item and an x appears next to it.

Then move joystick to left, to highlight x, then press x on controller to delete.

I saw the x and thought it meant to press x on controller, which then just gives more info about item.
