BigMal: PS4 games were buy 2 get 1 free on Amazon this morning. Not sure if the offer is still up but worth a look.

The redemption code is gr8tness.

I got NBA2k14, Madden and BF4 for $139 USD delivered.

It's finished now. Did you see they now have a PSN store front on amazon. If you have a US PSN you'll be able to buy codes from amazon and download the games. Pretty exciting might see some good digital discounts now.

Is there any warranty downside to buying the PS4 from Amazon (via YouShop delivery, say) and getting it that way? I.e. if it faults will Sony NZ deal with it? My assumption is that they won't, but it's so much cheaper than buying it in NZ I'm tempted.

Its not that much cheaper. You also need to add the 15% GST when it lands here. No international warranty support either. Buy local.

Do whatever you want to do man.

Also you would want to research whether you would require a power converter. Last thing you would want is to plug it in an instantly fry your brand new PS4. Also although games are region free I think you would be stuck playing American blu ray's.

How do you calculate that? Seems like not a lot of difference to me.

399 usd is 478 Nzs. By the time you factor in your exchange rate doesn't give you the actual price it will be more like 500.

Then gst when it comes into Nz so another $150. So that is 650, which is the same price as NZ. Then when u add on shipping....

How come you have GST at 30%? Although I always factor GST in as a possibility I'm yet to be charged for anything I have imported and I've imported a fair bit. But to be honest I wouldn't bother with a PS4 as the price difference would be minimal at best and you would lose any local support.

Whoops. Should have been 75. Still by the time you add shipping off hat, $50? it's pretty close to the full price.

ricky1981: Warehouse are offering XB1 Day 1 Edition with Fifa 14 and Fighter Within or NBA2k14 for $697. Works out $50 cheaper than anywhere else and an extra game :)

Wow, that's a pretty good deal. I couldn't see any mention of Fifa14 being included, though, just the choice of Fighter Within or NBA2k14 (and even then you have to go into the game listing on the website to see a mention, there didn't seem to be a console product item)?

They've sold out now but they were Day 1 editions with FIFA included. Very good deal, here's hoping they do something similar for the PS4 :)

Warehouse must be very close to sending out an email confirming PS4 bundles.

I'm taking 29 November, launch day, off work.  Being single has advantages and disadvantages but one major advantage is not having to explain to a gf or wife why on earth would I want to "waste" leave on a console launch.  Man, this is a once in a 7 or 8 year event - who wouldn't want to take a day off for it?

I'm rarely excited to check my email, some days I just don't but this last week I've been checking it twice a day!

Has there been any evidence of what bundles they are going to offer?

Over at GPForums someone mentioned they should know what bundles are on offer at the end of next week. However the Warehouse Email said payment must be made by the 22nd. It sounds to me like we have to make the payment before the bundles are officially announced?
