Hi I live in New Zealand and I currently have a US account for the Playstation Network. I have a game which is on a disc but I want to purchase some add ons for the game. Can I still purchase them from my US account on the PS3 and be charged US price? I don't know how to go about this.

no, dlc is region locked. if you have the NZ version of the game ie you bought the game in NZ, to play the dlc you need to purchase from the NZ PSN store. if you bought the game from the US you will be able to buy the dlc from the us store.

you can't change the store region. you will need to create a new PSN account. once you create the new account if you just make a new user on the ps3 and log in to the new account and then buy the dlc and set the PS3 as the PSN accounts 'home' console, you will then be able to go back to your original user and psn account and play through the dlc. this method is useful as you keep all your PSN friends and trophies you have collected without having to start again.

So if I get the digital copy of the game from the us store, do you think I can use my save files that are from
The disk copy?

I'm not sure but I wouldn't count on it, as disk games from different regions usually don't have compatible save files. also sometimes you can't even use the same save for physical and digital copies even if both purchased from the same region

It would make sense for the files to work on both
