I think the craze is coming to an end tbh. And how long can they milk a game. And they say they're going to break even middle of next year!

It should be interesting to see what happens, if Microsoft leaves the development team as is mine craft shouldn't die off

However if Microsoft starts inputting there own ideas into the game and cut the original staff then we shall more than likely see the destruction of the game

Which would be sad due to the influx of 12 year olds into other games

I'm not so sure.  Minecraft is MASSIVELY popular with children, even so far as to be integrated into a lot of primary school classes.  My wife is going to a conference about it this weekend in fact.

As if Yahoo!, Google, Apple and others didn't buy smaller companies, absorbed technologies and then closed them, leaving existing users in the dust.
