dan: im sure they will get back to me about it at some point, called this morning she seemed quite helpful, but didn't offer any kind of resolution as yet until they spoke with the "red alert team"

it was bought online so i cant just rock up to a store with it.

I bought my PS4 online, took it back to a physical store.

nathan: just checked up about this

Assassins Creed games were tokens, but the other two should have been full packaged product. You should return it and get a new console.

My Xbox One was the Titan Fall Bundle, it had a card with a redemption code to allow me to down load.

The Warehouse just ship from random stores it seams, no proper centralized warehouse of stock. Leads to people shipping wrong things etc as they have many staff messing around out the back of the shops. Also could have been a customer return "unopened" type situation where someone has swapped stuff in the box out and taken it back sealed which usually will let them get a refund straight away. Chances are the returns desk didnt do a decent check for tampering and just took their word that they bought the wrong one etc.

Back when the 360 was new a friend bought one that was "sealed" and the insides was an old one from the US, a US power supply etc and no controller in the box. Seal was just a round transparent sticker and it looked pretty much intact but there was some folding around it. Had a nightmare with that return.

I believe each "region" has a store that handles online orders, rather than just random stores.

I have had 3 shipments on a single order all come from different places, tauranga, waikato and the usual pakuranga store. Im guessing it just gets whoever has stock to send it. Still, its only $7 per order so long as you stay off the "oversized" stuff so I dont reallly care where it comes from.

Just an update, took quite a few phone calls, they were easy to talk to, but they seem a bit disorganised on the distribution side, they actually offered to drive me out a console last Friday with a couple of slightly different games so i had it for the weekend, which was pretty cool of them, but i told them to just hold off and wait until Monday when they can organise everything

they sent out another console on Monday as they said,  but didn't include 3 of the 4 games in the bundle, so had to call back again and they then sent out the other 3 games - they upgraded the call of duty ghosts to COD Advanced Warfare + a couple freebies - 3 month xbox live and 3 month netflix separately

In the end it was a good deal for the 499$
