Hello, I have a PS3 that wont load games/bluerays unless I lift the front of the console while I insert the disc, I sent it to Lim Electronics in Manukau City and they have told me the motherboard is toast and buy a new console. I am certain its not that major as I can still use the console except for the issue of lifting the front while inserting the discs.

Is there a playstation repair shop that anyone recommends?

I would be thinking it is probably uneconomical to repair.   Find a good deal on a new one (Dick Smith if you are lucky have some good spot deals on things as above) or save your $$$ and buy a PS4.
