Does anyone else here have a G930 headset?

I have noticed the white noise that is generated when the headset is switched on is driving me mad. Went through the logitech forums and they were no help. Switched off sidenoise etc etc and no matter what I do its still there, especially noticable after playing music.

Anyhow I am trying to work out if this is normal or if I need to take them back to Harvey Norman.

My H600's were completely silent when no audio was being played.

It sounds like a blank cassette tape being played - or an amplifier running.

I have the same headset, no white noise. Can turn volume up to max when nothing is playing and I have complete silence.

While they are cordless, if you turn the power off and on, do you hear a quick short buzz?

I am thinking I will take them back to HN tomorrow morning.

Yes, I heard a quick short buzz when it both turns off or on, but I'm hearing that as a "beep". Like an intentional confirmation that it's on.

Looks like the packaging was thrown out before I could return them - so that was a waste of $200.

This person seems to have the exact same problem.

Its confusing because most forum posts seem to relate this to microphone noise, except I have muted it all and its definitely headphone noise. Anyhow the sound you hear in that video is exactly what I am hearing.

Cousins had a pair for each of their kids and I recall thinking they were bloody noisy for how much they cost, constant hiss like a $5 bluetooth speaker.
