Finished Outer Worlds and overall I thought it was just a good game with some frustrations.  I was disappointed with the ending..

I'm about 10hrs into Death Stranding.  What a bonkers game, it's truly bananas.  I've only just started chapter 3 and I'm finally starting to get to terms with the inventory management / route planning / construction aspects of the game.  It's truly unique, I even dreamed about bits of it last night - something I never do!

I restarted Witcher 3 because despite being 50-60% of the way through the game, but with huge breaks in between large sections of play. Couldn't recall the story or combat mechanics or pretty much anything.

I am despite having 27" screens, being able to sit in a lazy boy with a 106" screen is so much better and I wish I had bought it for PS4 or Xbox.

Bought Death Stranding hoping it would be more MGS V than MGS IV and it isn't. Dull gameplay, terrible dialogue, interminable cut-scenes.

Returned it to EB.

Weirdly, having owned for a while but not got round to playing it I am getting stuck into BloodStained: Ritual of the Night and really enjoying it.

I've not long been playing Death Stranding, convinced by recommendation from the brother in law. LOVING it so far! I'm only into chapter 2 thus far, but it's got me fairly hooked thus far.

i just finished my second playthrough of witcher 3, including the 2 expansion passes.   Witcher 3 is my favourite game ive ever played.  I thought i wouldnt be able to replay it due to the length of it, but nope, enjoyed it.  The last expansion pass i didnt complete everything in, the rest I did, i was getting a little tired at the end of it.  but its a massive game.

onto fallen order.

Yeah, I am a while though it now, not as far through as I was, but I am enjoying it more this time. There are some horrible crash to desktops with no errors occuring but it's ok on the whole.

Lonely Mountains: Downhill. What a neat little game. Playing it as part of that cheap XBOX game pass for 3 months deal. A basic, Trials-type game mountain biking style using a side angle (isometric view). Loads of fun and simple to pick up.

I just picked up RDR2 from Mighty Ape for $50, so I guess I finally get to play that!

I never really got into The Witcher - I had the original (?) and Witcher 2 on PC, but based on the massive amount of good feedback here, I think I'll have to buy Witcher 3 for PS4

edit: *very* tempted to buy Witcher 3 for $50 https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-game-of-the-year-edition-ps4/25705487 ...but I can't play both at once!

I grabbed the original Half-Life remake, Black Mesa, today on Steam, and it's phenomenal.  They've done a fantastic job.

This after playing through HL2 and Ep1 and Ep2 over the last couple of weeks.

Highly recommend this, it works great on my Surface Book 2 using GTX1060, and I've got my Xbox controller working with it too.  The graphics are outstanding.

^This. I played through all the various Half-Life games in the last month or so, and am looking forward to repeating Black Mesa, which I enjoyed a few years ago. Half-Life has to be one of the best game franchises out there.

They've added the final Xen levels to Black Mesa which is why I got it today.
