KillerHulk:

Just downloaded COD Warzone Battle Royale yesterday, will try it out this weekend.

Yeah that is my plan for this weekend as well, fell off PUBG recently since it just seems to be getting buggier and buggier by the day (not to mention the rampant cheating).

Finished GTA V again last night, still easily in my top 5 games ever.

Played a good bit of Raft over this week as well (early access game), a nice relaxing way to spend a few hours drifting on the sea.

I just regressed a tad and completed Assassins Creed Rogue (PC)... never played it before, actually pretty good, especially if you enjoyed the naval game play in Black Flag. It has a very interesting little kick in the ending in a nod to AC Unity.

Am now regressing even further and re-playing Half-Life Black Mesa.

Need something new to look forward to...

Never played PUBG, but yeah, have heard people complaining alot.

COD warzone looks like better BR compared to whats on market right now.

 - hated apex legends coz of the muzzle flash, literally couldnt see anything.

 - Fortnite is more building game than shooting.

but again, watched few videos on YT yesterday and people were spamming killstreaks like its nothing - this might get annoying.

@gehenna I finally got around to starting Senua's Sacrifice. I like it so far, though with no tutorial whatsoever, I am finding myself a bit lost. I am not sure if I need to understand more lore to get something from this game. I don't see a lot of exploration at this point, and I am not sure if it's even that sort of game. The Headphone experience is interesting. Playing on a pair of A50 Astro's.  I hear a lot of left and right channel sound, not sure I'd say it was exactly surrounded, but it's still good.

I also bought Beautiful Desolation based on a review. It's point and click adventuring, but I am struggling to get into it. Anyone else played it who thinks it was worth persisting with? I can't get really get a grip on the plot?

Bought myself a second-hand copy of God of War on TM in December. Mrs Code grabbed it and gave it to me as a stocking-stuffer for Christmas. Have just finished months on Witcher 3 and haven’t done anything with GoW until yesterday. Installed it, had a look  - and thought ‘nah, not so flash, not my cup of tea’.

Thought about it some more. I had bought it because it was so highly-rated on Metacritic - at 94% it’s one of the highest-rated PS4 games of all time. So there must be more to it - I should persevere with it.

Slowly realised that in ignorance I had bought a copy of an old game - GoW 3 Remastered - originally for PS3 in 2010. Can’t get a preferred physical copy of the highly-rated 2018 game under current conditions, so I purchased and downloaded it from Sony and fired it up.

Have now just scratched the surface with a couple hours play. Still absorbing the gameplay mechanic but I can tell I’m going to love it. It’s been optimised for HDR and semi-4K - looks great via PS4 Pro on a 65” OLED. Some good lockdown times ahead.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Dragged the steering wheel and pedals out of the spare room and fired up Dirt Rally 2 again.  Looks like that'll be the only rallying I get to do for quite some time.  At least it's cheaper if I step outside my talent level.

Also working on moving our gaming groups regular D&D sessions online.  First session tomorrow night so we'll see how well that works.

I thought it would be a good idea to start Mass Effect from the beginning again.

Decided the first weekend of lockdown was a good time to go down the 'just one more turn' rabbit hole of any Paradox game and dig out HOI4.

After a long time away, decided to jump back into Football Manager 2019 - oh I forget how 'just one more turn' this game was. As addictive as crack, just a lot less expensive. Have a massive back catalogue of Steam games that I need to work through - including the recently released Borderlands 3 - but with work still on and 2 teen boys to marshall I have about as much free time now as I did BC (Before Covid).

@eracode if you persist with GoW you find a absolute masterpiece of a game. A definite genre defining moment and a game no PS4 should be without.

Just working my way through Doom Eternal at the moment, great game but amazingly frantic with hardly a moment to breathe.

Made the mistake of buying Animal Crossing on the switch so now that is all my free time gone for the foreseeable future...

Ha ha, same here. Been playing DiRT Rally, Project Cars and Project Cars 2 on it. Downloading DR2 now as a free PS+ game.

Other than that I've been doing the weekly Tides of War challenge in Battlefield V plus I've started The Division 2 (only rank 8 so far).

Oh and I picked up The Golf Club 2 for $4.85.

I am really struggling to stay attached to a game at the moment. I have bunches of games half-finished, but nothing is really grabbing me. I was really really enjoying Division 2 until it turned into a real-world simulator experience!

I just want something addictive, fun, not too complicated etc...
