I am really struggling to stay attached to a game at the moment. I have bunches of games half-finished, but nothing is really grabbing me. I was really really enjoying Division 2 until it turned into a real-world simulator experience!

I just want something addictive, fun, not too complicated etc...

are you playing on PC or PS4?

Playing Warzone on PC and if it wasn’t for it being an unoptimised piece of garbage it would be ok, for a BR game it’s not too bad.

My nearly 7yr old daughter is getting into PC gaming now, which is pretty cool.

Can’t recall what you have said in the past - have you played God of War (2018 version)? It’s on PS4. I’m two weeks and about 20% into it. Brilliant IMO.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Dragged the steering wheel and pedals out of the spare room and fired up Dirt Rally 2 again.  Looks like that'll be the only rallying I get to do for quite some time.  At least it's cheaper if I step outside my talent level.

Also working on moving our gaming groups regular D&D sessions online.  First session tomorrow night so we'll see how well that works.

Ha ha, same here. Been playing DiRT Rally, Project Cars and Project Cars 2 on it. Downloading DR2 now as a free PS+ game.

Other than that I've been doing the weekly Tides of War challenge in Battlefield V plus I've started The Division 2 (only rank 8 so far).

Oh and I picked up The Golf Club 2 for $4.85.

A couple of the National Rally guys organised a virtual Otago Rally over the weekend to coincide with then the real Otago Rally was supposed to have been run.  That was a lot of fun doing 280km of stages over the 3 days against most of the usual rally guys, and the odd "drive anything with wheels" type (SVG).  Finished in about my usual spot near the back.  :-)

Also have now run both D&D groups through online sessions.  Some incredibly good platforms available for doing so.

Picked up Beat Saber last night for the PSVR.

Awesome fun. Even my wife was enjoying herself. That should keep us entertained at home over the long weekend.

I've been playing The Touryst, a really fun little open world game with puzzles and side-quests thrown in.

Tried Warzone yesterday on PC, completely lost my skills once had on original MW2 and could only just finish the NPC tutorial.  Looking forward to giving it a go but will be wrecked in actual multiplayer.

I have it, and I've played it, but I took a break from it, and I've lost the story, my muscle memory for the controls and can't really work out where I am supposed to be going or what I am supposed to be doing. I was enjoying it on the whole before I took a break.

Go back to it.  It's one of the best games of any generation.

Not quite sure I would go that far, but it was definitely enjoyable, one of the only games to stop me from selling my PS4 this gen.

You and me both. It must be age for me because my reflexes are trash even with a 1ms high refresh rate monitor I’m getting smoked! Played the free multiplayer weekend just gone (TDM, Hardpoint etc) and held my own. The cross play with console players is pretty good, I seem to get put in a few lobbies where it’s 90% console players on controllers but even than KBM isn’t giving me the big edge like years gone by.

In saying that it is skill based matchmaking so maybe I’m getting console lobbies because my K/D is trash :/

You'd be one of the only people who doesn't go that far.  Even just single-shot camera work is widely regarded as one of the greatest technical achievements of any generation, that's not even getting into the gameplay mechanics/story/graphics/score.

For me it was a 8/10 story, 9/10 presentation and 4/10 for gameplay. Its probably my second favourite PS4 game this generation after Uncharted 4, but the gameplay was quite bland and repetitive, not enough to make me stop playing but I was definitely kept going by the story not the actual game itself.
