All the usual suspects for console games have roughly the same price for Immortals fenyx rising, around $60. I’d just pull it from the ps5 store if I was keen.

Currently giving Immortals Fenyx Rising a crack given it's part of my Ubisoft+ sub. Pretty fun so far, albeit 45 mins in.  I like the art aesthetic and it's chuckleable humour.

Same. Early dialogue is a bit mistimed almost like emphasizing the wrong sylLAble.

Did you get to the part where fenix and the stranger are on the hill right before the intro maybe 1 or so hours in where they looked like they were talking and no speech was coming out, no subtitles? Music was playing. Ps5. Was a bit odd

Other than that I recommend it so far.

I’m playing cyberpunk on the Xbox series x.  Despite all the media noise, I’m actually really enjoying it, I’ve had one almost game stopping bug, but managed to get past that.  Obviously this is running in back compatibility mode as the series x version hasn’t been released yet, but still looking pretty good.

Interesting to hear that. I was planning to get it for PS5 when I finish AC Valhalla but was then put off by the publicity. Now I think I may just get it anyway. Or may wait for the PS5 version. Dunno - life’s decisions are so difficult.

It's known to work reasonably fine on new gen consoles, just without visual flourishes like ray tracing etc until the updates for that come out in 2021. It's just last gen consoles that are insufferable to use.

Digital Foundry have done some excellent analysis videos on a range of devices

I'm playing Ghost of Tsushima on PS5 at the moment. 4K 60fps. Holy moly it's gorgeous. I played for a while when it came out but only to kill time before TLOU2 arrived. Now I'm giving this the attention it deserves. And on my new 82" QLED. It's stunning. Can't believe the difference from my last TV

I’m looking for something to play on PS5 when I finish AC Valhalla in a couple of weeks. I’m attracted to this because I understand it can be played very much in a stealth mode - like the sound of that.

I have an LG C9 OLED 65” which supports 4K 60 FPS via HDMI 2.1, so it should similarly look pretty good. You say the appearance is stunning - how do you find the gameplay?

👍 Ordered online. Sounds like a bargain at $57 new.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
