MadEngineer:

Get Surviving Mars - Deluxe Edition for free (humblebundle.com)

The music is available on everywhere.  Can't wait to use it for when I next need to focus at work

Apple Music (Lossless)

Surviving Mars (Original Game Soundtrack) by George Strezov on Amazon Music - Amazon.com

Came to post a follow up.

Loving this game

You start off with limited resources with which to start building with the goal of being able to accept the first delivery of colonists.  You have to mine or produce concrete, water, metals, oxygen, fuel, polymers, rare metals, electronics, machine parts, food, power.  The collection of those resources are used in the production so that you build more to then in turn produce even more with the eventual goal of not having to have them delivered from Earth on a rocket.  Rare metals are exported back to Earth to fund another rocket delivery after using your produced fuel to return it but are also used in the production of electronics for example.

The buildings are run and maintained by the colonists of various skills and drones

It plays like you're constantly on the edge of having enough resources to survive and keep up with the maintenance while also expanding while trying to keep the colonists sane.  Research slowly makes things easier.

Throw into the mix some disasters and a variety of possible story lines and waaay more than my simplified intro above and you've got a very replayable game.

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

Finished the Final Fantasy 7 Remake again last night. So much better at 60fps in the enhanced version. Looking forward to starting the intermission episode today. I completely forgot how insane the last few hours of Remake are since my playthrough last year was interrupted by the death of my mum. It ramps up and up and up and exceeds all expectations though. Puts a lot of action movies to shame.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a parent sucks.

Assassins Creed Valhalla.

Not sure if I like it or  not; it's getting a bit repetitive.

Wolcen Lords of Mayhem coop with a buddy. I do understand the hate this game gets, especially on it's own subreddit. Thoroughly enjoying it, beautiful graphics, solid voice acting and really enjoyable combat.

I have been playing A Plague Tale : Innocence. I got it free this month with my PS Plus Sub. I am really enjoying it a lot. It's a combination of interesting story, interesting characters, excellent voice acting, and puzzles which usually aren't too complex but are interesting to solve.

So far I'd rate it a serious 9/10

I thought this sounded interesting so looked into it and found this news of an update. Given that the update was due to be released last week, I’m guessing you have the later version?

I'm having huge sessions on Wreckfest playing in the AU/NZ lobbys. Last man standing demolition derby events with mates. Sooo much fun!

Very happy THQ finally sorted the cross play between PS5 and PS4.

If you got it on PS+ for PS5 it'll be the enhanced edition. The higher frame rate makes it much more enjoyable. I played it last year and it was perfectly playable but it's even better now. Until you get to the bit with the archers and portcullis. You'll know.

I hadn't looked on the PS store for a while and see as you state that the PS5 version is free this month. I watched the trailer and it looked good so will grab it tonight. Cheers for the recommendation
