Nintendo Switch on Amazon.

Note that the price is US$299. Add to this shipping and you have the total cost. Convert to NZ$ and if the amount of GST to pay is less than NZ$ 60 then Customs won't charge it. If NZ$ 60 or more then it will be collected.

For an estimate of the costs use the What's My Duty Estimator.

You could try the Offers and Wanted section if a second hand one is okay for you.

How much is semi decent shipping - another $30 USD? So roughly $470 NZD, not including the potential GST nor the advantage of NZ warranty.

Not worth it IMHO. EB Games did have a bundle - Switch & Rayman for $549 (at one point I think it may have even been $529)

I bought mine from JB Hifi in Melbourne last March. At the time, they said NZ JB would honor the warranty if anyting went wrong. I haven't had anything go wrong to put this to the test however.

Price was $479 AUD. Aussies may complain about the "Aussie Tax" on imported electronics compared to the US, but as we know, the "Kiwi Tax" is even worse. Speaking of tax, if you buy in Aussie, you get to claim the GST back at the airport through the TRS scheme.
