Cool thanks for the info... I'll take the wait & see approach.

The article I read about also said that a reformat fixed things for the "bricked" consoles.  Since I've recently reformatted anyway, I've got nothing to lose but now I have to wait!  Can anyone let me know somewhere to get the update from?

I just wish they would fix subtitle support.

In game XMB is nice too though.

Both 2.40 and 2.41 work fine for me, except... when checking the stats page in the GTA4 pause menu and going to network\deathmatch\overall it locks up and i have to restart - only tried it 3ish times, dont want to try it anymore cos reloading is time consuming! anyone else have this problem?

I like to check this often cos im hanging around 50th in the world right now, come join me in a match PSN: halfbakednz

Slightly off topic but still about updates, has anyone got the Burnout Paradise update yet? if u own the game but have shelved it for a while i fully suggest firing it back up as the new update is awesome!

Ingame music, new cars, screen res looks better, news and weather while loading, more traffic (one thing i could have done without!) new game modes...

Prolly more but thats all i can think of off the top of my head

Got this the other night, no problems so far. I really appreciate being able to forward divx at 120x, rather than the previous maximum 30x - makes such a difference with no chapters to forward through...
