That's a bit of a leap of logic, I preordered because I wanted one for myself at launch but if you've done any reading of XSX reviews it's apparent that there really is little to get excited about if you already have an X1X.

 

As I said in my post, I'm toying with it and frankly if you wanted to be a scalper then the XSX would be a bad choice as there's still stock expected pre-xmas. PS5 are likely to be going for well over $1,000 even digital only. I've got no intention to sell my preorder as there's plenty day 1 that I know I'll want to play.

 

 

 

 

Think it's quite a different scenario to suggest you're a scalper when you've clearly ordered as a pre-order to play and use, and now are less excited about the release games.

 


Scalpers typically don't buy a single item either ๐Ÿ˜‚

Everyone is a scalper, it just depends on their price point.

Just settled the rest of the score with EB with all the trade ins and payments, ready to pick up ps5 with spider man mm and demonโ€™s souls ๐Ÿ™‚

Contacted Noel Leeming again today...

We are reaching out to our supplier if possible they can fulfill pre orders as early as Nov 12 . Please be advise that there is no guarantee on this as they have informed still 15-19 will be the ETA for stocks so far.

We are reaching out to our supplier if possible they can fulfill pre orders as early as Nov 12 . Please be advise that there is no guarantee on this as they have informed still 15-19 will be the ETA for stocks so far.

 

Is that for launch day preorders?!

Well that sucks :( I avoid NL like the plague but with the preorder mess I missed out with MA who I use for everything else. Hey ho, it's only a few extra days I guess and I won't have to use NL for another 8 years or more!

It is not the same story I got from calling their support centre, so I have still resigned myself to not getting it this week and if I do, it will be a nice surprise!

The strike at the distribution centre the other day is probably causing some uncertainty and tension be kind to the Noel Leeming CSR's folks. They probably know as much as you do.

Just rang the 0800 number for NL. They took my cell number, checked my invoice, said i'll be very pleased to know that one is already in my store waiting for me to pick it up on thursday, anytime.

 

Bonus was it was meant to be delivered.

 

 

 

Long story short, they'll be available to collect thursday, shipped on thursday.

Long story short, they'll be available to collect thursday, shipped on thursday.

 

 

 

 

Just logged on to the website and noticed my order has changed status from "Processing: Awaiting stock" to "Ready to Send", though the overall status of the order was tagged as "Shipped"

 

I checked with the 0800 team and they said it was in their Wiri WH pending courier pickup which should be today, so fingers crossed for a delivery by Friday given that I am in Auckland too!
