Hello all ... Hoping some 1 could answer a little question I have.

Iv just bought a Network adaptor for my ps2 but it came without an erthernet lead.Iv tried using my pc modem lead and it does light up the adaptors socket but it keeps failing to connect.

Should this lead do the job? Or do I need to buy a specific ps2 to adaptor lead?

Cheers,Chris

From what I know of the PS2 adaptor, a standard CAT5 cable should be fine.
You sure its not a crossover cable ?

Theres two different types of network cable..... most modern computers and modems/routers dont care which you use, but some devices are picky which you use and wont work.

Might give a better idea...
