Thanks for all that info. Was just having a look in CDKeys and the one thats comes up for me is NZ$87.89. Where do you see the one that you said is about $59 ? I have 14 variations for 12 months showing up on CDKeys.

This is the worldwide one I got - I only used worldwide for 6 months because my 12 worked in Brazilian.

If I were you I'd try a Brazillian 12 month and see if it works, maybe being on a VPN when you do (I wasn't)

Here's the Brazilian one I used

With the 6 months that failed for me, they said funds had been refunded but I haven't seen it yet on my statement (still pending, just like the actual purchases). However they seem to be legit enough that I would expect the refund and if it didn't work, I think $50 more for 3 years is still saving a TONNE of money.

Just got one 12 month NZ Gold. So much for it being Worldwide -

Change your Microsoft Store region

You currently have a subscription from a different region.

You did buy a general worldwide right, like this (https://www.cdkeys.com/12-month-xbox-live-gold-membership-xbox-one-360). The region is shown when you view the item.
The 6 month world wide is what I used and it worked perfectly. That error about you having a subscription from another region seems weird........And was "Change your Microsoft Store region" the error message you got?

Yes it was that exact 12 month one you linked too and it said Worldwide. That was an exact quote of what it said.

Anyway, after teaching myself many new swearwords, it seems like I couldn't get it to work by just logging in on a browser and typing in my 25char code, as it said it was being added to MyEmailAddress (United States). But if I go to the Microsoft Store and redeem there, it says its being added to MyEmailAddress (New Zealand) and that works, as in my sub seems to have increased by 13 months.

I fiddled around changing locations and changing them back an changing them somewhere else, who knows if I fixed or unfixed anything.

OK, cool. If you are logged into your regular microsoft account then you shouldn't have to change any region stuff in your profile etc. The only thing I had to do was use a VPN to redeem if I was redeeming a Brazilian code.

Good luck!

Hokey Dokey. Thanks very much for your help. Also had to convert to Ultimate in the Microsoft Store. Don't know if its as good as the rest of you guys, but using CDKeys and Worldwide Microsoft Gold, works out at about NZ$5.80pm for the next 36 months.

No problem. Mine came out at a little less but not much. Either way the price is way less than what we’d pay normally just subbing to Ultimate at $20/m
