Hi is anyone with telecom using steam? I can't even access the website (store.steampowered.com) although if I use a proxy server it works sweet as, just wondering if telecoms blocking it or somthing. CHeers

I'm with Telecom, and haven't been trying Steam, but I know there are a few other sites that I have that problem with, and work with a proxy.

I just tried that steam site first post,

With telecom got connecting to cdn.steampowered.com been going for over 5 minutes and still connecting, with proxy connected and loaded in under 5 seconds.

Its a DNS issue with a few NZ ISPs if you add the below to your hosts file it works.

68.142.123.239 cdn.store.steampowered.com
208.111.159.58 cdn.steampowered.com

Called telecom, supposedly theres been a few people ring about this site a a bunch of others, there working on a fix I was told...

Im also getting this on orcon.
