xpd: Looks like Ill be getting Infamous as well... not free tho but good as - friend bought it when it first came out, and got infamous 2 last week and found it came with a 50% off voucher for the first one thru PSN so he gave me the voucher :)

Seem to be having bit of a good run on PS3 games lately.... :)

Infamous is pretty damn awesome. I downloaded it on Friday (with the download finally finishing Saturday morning). I took it for a spin, intending to play it in full later (currently working my way through GTA IV). But I've found it to be so good that I just can't stay away from Empire City. :-)

hmmm i'd like to report a weird phenomenon.

took advantage of the free games: selected and successfully downloaded wipeout full pack and the r&c game.

a day later i found that PSN login had some problems: asked me to change password, and then took forever to login. then i realised i had more chances at the free game thing so i clicked Get Now.

attempted to download Dead Nation and infamous. stalled a few times but resuming manually always resumed the downloads and now i have 4 free games!

plus the free games from PSN plus (esp Burnout paradise) .... i have heaps of free games!

the unfortunate thing is i have no time to play them so they're just sitting there taking up what's left of the 320GB drive ... :)

OK that sounds cool.

How do I get mine to stuff up then so I can get more?

LBP is exactly what you'd expect and good for family.

Wipeout is unfortunately very much like a revamped 1980's game which it kinda is. Ok a bit harsh but the wire frame type desgin of the ships etc just makes me laugh. Kinda wish you could just fly off the set track and around a city etc.

Concentrate on Burnout if you want to play it, because you don't get to keep it once your Playstation Plus expires.

Does only one user per ps3 get the free stuff or all users?
I would expect only one user, my ps3 has 2 users so just thought I would ask.

I would expect that every PSN user should get the Welcome Back content, regardless of whether they share the same console. After all, every user has potentially had their personal data exposed.

I can't confirm this though, as I blew my data cap downloading my first game (Infamous, which was over 7GB), so I've not tried downloading any under my wife's account.

I can confirm that the other that users on the same system get free stuff to. Am now getting 2 more free games on the Mrs account, seeing as both users can play the games, now have games coming out my ears.(i also indulged and got duke nukem(I'm a Nukem fan and its a good game I DON'T care what people say) and assassins creed 2 on trade me for cheap)

My BB cap is 20G so I have no prob

Nope doesn't work.

I can postulate how I got 2 free games. I had 2 users but had one psn account. Somehow it must have confused itself and gave me free stuff twice

Posted this in the other Welcome Back thread, but then saw this one gets more traffic so thought I'd crosspost here ;)

Same here, downloaded inFamous and Ratchet and Clank (3GB) and went over our 10GB cap from Telecom over the weekend. We are only half way through the month billing period so rung Telecom yesterday to go up to the next higher plan for a month rather than be stuck on dialup for two weeks and then drop back to the 10GB next billing period and they said - Nah, we will just reinstate your 10GB and start again from today for no extra charge, good on them.Smile
