For various reasons I needed to factory re-set my SPA2102 ATA. I use Open VFX. After entering the provisioning URL http://58.28.20.69/configs/default/default$MA.cfg, no changed are made to the configuration on the ATA. I followed the helpful video setup guide on the WxC website, so yes, Provision Enable is set to "yes".

Is the provisioning URL functioning?

Hi DrCheese,

The auto-provisioning will only work on the certified service, not on OpenVFX, as there is no config for your number.

Your SPA2102 is a certified device, so if you want to benefit the auto-provisioning feature you will need to change service type from OpenVFX to Certified, this is something our sales team can assist with.

Yep. I already had that bookmarked. Sbiddle used to have an Linksys SPA NZ configuration on his web site but it disappeared a while back. But it is certainly possible to enter everything manually from the xml data kindly shown on the web site.

I might end up getting back to you as incoming calls fail after about an hour, although outgoing calls work just fine.

Thanks grudge. The ATA is re-registering with VFX every 300 seconds, although it is set for a registration expiry of 3600 seconds. After the second registration incoming calls were diverted to my cell phone (which is how I've set it up in the event of a power failure or an inability to register).

I set Provision Enable to "no", which is really where it should be considering that there is no provisioning URL entered. The problem seems to be solved now.
