While waiting for my Vodafone VDSL install, I installed VFX Primary Line today. It was my first use of Voip.

Configuration:
a) TelstraClear ADSL
b) I have the following connected to my Lynksys DG434 v4 router
b.1) Windows desktop
b.2) Airport Extreme Wifi.
b.3) Vodafone Suresingnal boosting my mobile reception from half a bar to 5 bars
b.4) SPA122 ATA for the WxC VFX service
b.5) my existing cordless phone station connected to the SPA122 ATA

Installation It took 30 minutes with one call to WxC support to resolve a cabling error of mine

Conclusion Install easier than expected and WcX support was excellent without annoying IVR waits or processes.

I would say VFX is the best managed VoIP service offered in NZ. You really can't do better from any one else for that price.
It's ideal for anyone wanting to get a cheap phone but not deal with ANY of the hassles of going to VoIP.

Thanks for the tip chevrolux. It worked for me.
I've know about VIOP for a long time but never had the broadband capacity to do it.
It was a long wait but now I have Naked broadband and my wife her can use her old phone. Peace..
Will be even better when VDSL installed next week.

Moved to WxC forum... Note "WorldxChange" as a company doesn't exist anymore, they're now "WxC".
