Just search dlna on the Play store, and look for the ones that say either "browser" or "player"..

Any reason you are doing this via DLNA?

You should just be able to mount the network drive with something like cifsmanager and just play the files straight off the disk,

DLNA is an extra overhead unless you need it for file incompatibility...

Just want to ask, is cifsmanager a Windows or Android app?

hey i have nexus 4,only using DLNA because both the netgear and the nexus support it,i can get the netgear genie to open up and ask to enter my user name and password on the phone, but after this it just doesn't do anything it just reloads the page and asks for the user name and password again!if there's another way without using DLNA great ill try it,but just having the hdd mounted to the netgear wont allow the drive to show up on the phone?
