Ah forgot about Allied Telesis. Cool I'll get some quotes for one of their routers and a 24 port switch. Cisco probably too expensive and complex for what I want.

ive deployed some netgear stackable switches recently. gigE switchesnwith PoE. decent price, good UI for managing and they come with stacking cables. ive had no problem maxing out several 1gbps connections on the switch with san traffic..
