Hello. Ive just bought & instaled a Netgear DGND3700v2 wifi router.

One of our users has Skype - which HAd a few probs connecting before. I think ive set the MAC address and "skype" to high-priority.

So far tonight, no complaints from them :)

however - my main Pc seems sklow / some web pages take 2-3  times /tries to load up...

1) i have enabled the advanced  traffic meter.

from what i gather, this tells me the daily bandwidth used in the router.

Is there a way i can 'log' the bandwidth per user / device ?

2) I've allocated their mac address / computer as high-priority & skype as high priority.

Is there a way to "monitor" what is causing my pc to be slow. is it because they are using high bandwidth at a particular moment ?
or is there a hidden place that blocks some sites ?

3)  is there a way i can give their PC/skype "high priority" - but only to 65% or 70%,  & leave the remainder to me / the other devices ?

4) i heve found the NETGEAR forum, but in order to get into it, i need to locate my serial number of my new device. I'll wait for a friend to pop by in a few days - better eyesight.

1. DGND3700 is not capable of logging bandwith per user/device.

2. Why don't you try by switching off all other devices, then see how you computer performs?

3. No. AFAIK, this router (DGND3700) will decide what is best, based on the priority set.

4. Cool!
