Hello, if I want to redicret all traffic for a range of websites out a specific router interface (e.g. www.bmw.com and www.mercedes.com) is it reliable to just dns resolve those website names and then route those IP addresses out the interface ? So I would end up with two IP addresses to route out that interface.
Are there any reasons why this method may be inaccurate ?

Thanks kindly for any info.

It's very likely to fail because of the assumption that all website content will reside on a single IP which is very rarely the case.

You'll need to do a nslookup of the domains over a couple of days.  If it stays static then you are fine.

Also check the pages in case they reference CDNs.  If they do then you'll probably be screwed.

What is your reason for doing so? Do you have a fast connection with a small data cap and a slow connection with unlimited data? Or something else again?
