Hi guys,

just have spark fiber installed, the router they gave us is so crap.

i bid a Netgear D6300 from Trademe, but not too sure how the setting is yet.

anyone by any chance have a D6300 handy could give the setting page, or is there a setting for VLAN?

would be like super prefect if with D6300 and Spark fiber at the same time.

any help is appreciated

cheers,

Sam

Yes - use the search: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=66&topicid=171179

Also the router they provide is actually not that crap at all - I assume you're meaning WiFi performance? If so, use Ethernet to achieve the best possible speeds as WiFi is not a replacement for Ethernet no matter what router you buy.

One thing is always consider is that all things being equal external antennas will provide greater coverage then internal antennas.  You also have the flexibility to change the external antennas as your requirements change.
