 Interestingly the information wireshark gives is:

7540 79.991748 2a02:348:82:cb69::6 2406:e001:1:2301:250:56ff:fe92:78 ICMPv6 106 Echo (ping) request id=0xce39, seq=1, hop limit=242 (no response found!)

so it wasn't able to find a response, even though the IP is available behind the router.

I've just checked the routing packet and I've got the reply from the router stating that it was administratively blocked... I do think the 7390 is not allowing IPv6 forwarding!

Anyone else got a 7390 that could try enabling IPv6 port forwarding and see what the results are?  Mine continues to not work at all; the router address is fine but the forwarded ip address does not.

You could try getting AVM support to help.  They might have some idea as to what the problem is, and if it is a bug, they would be able to file a report to get it fixed.

Yeah I have now.  I've heard nothing from 2degrees from my support tickets as some people found that it was a network error causing the trouble on other international forums, so I thought it was worth a try.

Its tempting to get an Edgerouter Lite or something and use that as my main router with the fritzbox running only as VDSL modem.
