Thanks for that update.  Sounds like we can run it for a little while longer but accept that there is a small risk of an exploit over time.  I do have it running on a POE injector (not sure if it's passive or not).  My plan B if we can't get it reset is to hook up a second Fritz Box I have lying around to extend the wifi network, or maybe look at an entry-level mesh setup.

Many thanks Michael for standing this up and keeping it going for so long. I've made good use of it for updating and monitoring my APs and clients over the years.

whoops it looks like I'm a bit late to the party on this. I had 2 AP's connected to the controller (thanks for all the help Michael), but I havent used them since xmas as I sold my house and now sitting in a box waiting for the next house.

Can I just double check that if theyve factory reset or need discovering again will they still work? I was planning on buying another one but I'll hold off until I know it will work (please explain like teaching a 5 year old as controllers and gateways etc get a bit confusing sorry)

You can easily factory reset the Access Points and adopt to a new controller.
