Voyagers support pages lists static DNS, not static IP. OP has got his settings right as far as I can see.

Something that might help, put Voyager or something into the PPP service name field.

Also, try flashing bigpipe firmware on it (and adding Vlan tagging).

Try plugging the ethernet cable into the different ONT ethernet ports. There was a thread where someone's connection wasn't working, and it turned out that service had been provisioned on port 2 of the ONT. Although can't remember if it was an Enable or UFF fibre connection.

It's a long shot but you never know.

I'd be trying this as well. Had a connection last week on UFF that was provisioned as a new connection on port 2 rather than a transition.

tanivula:[snip]put Voyager or something into the PPP service name field.

This field should always be left blank unless specifically instructed exactly what to put in there. It is not simply a text label to put something in.

Definitely wouldn't do that. I'm not aware of any mass market ISP that would require this field set. It would only get used when there is more than one PPP service available and would simply not authenticate with just something random in there.

Thanks to everyone that posted help, it's working now, there was nothing wrong with the router or my settings. Voyager say Enable (the fibre installer) missed a check in the provisioning and this is not something the call centre staff have access to check. Overall the call centre people were helpful but ultimately gave wrong information about the router setup (IPv4 static DNS is not a required setting). It never would have worked even if I had bought their router. So points for effort but I'm not overly impressed by their service so far.

I'll update the OP with the correct details later in case anyone else has similar issues.

Static DNS is very different to the static IP you referred to. PPPoE will hand out DHCP servers but putting in the DNS servers like you did won't cause any harm.
