@under The tech will likely have put the order on hold pending further detail. Send us a PM with your address and I will have a look into it with you. Our technicians will usually do what they can to accommodate any requests for how the Fibre is run but do have limits on what we can do as part of the Free install.

@Dingbatt sorry I missed your post before. We will try and use existing conduit to run the Fibre cable from the street to the ETP, if it exists. People don’t realise how often the copper is actually just buried in the ground with only a short section of PVC at either end for protection. Or years in the ground have caused blockages.

If it’s not possible to use the conduit it should still be fine running the Fibre under your house to where you want it coming up.

Theoretically there is a maximum distance between the ETP and ONT, but 10 meters will be quite all right.

The technician will discuss all of this with you during the scope, so you can agree on a method that suits your needs. ^Richard.
