Hi all!

I've just bought a bluetooth adapter. SilverHawk v1.2. It came with BlueSoleil drivers. I've installed it. But when I try to run that exe, app just crashes. And I can't do anything.

I tried everything - re-install, reboot, and etc.

Please, help me if You can.

P. S. Sorry for my English.

I suggest you run an antivirus and antispyware scan. And check that you have some free memory on your PC. And perhaps run a CHKDSK, defragment your drive and uninstall programs you don't need that may be loading at startup - and even the ones that are not.

CHKDSK, defragmenter.. Hmm, I ran them two days ago. There realy are free memory. If I exit Kaspersky, it would help?

No, keep your AV running.

Depending on what you want to do you might just get away with using the Windows Bluetooth drivers instead. In that case unplug the adapter, uninstall the BlueSoleil software, reboot and plug the adapter. If it is recognised by Windows you should have Bluetooth working...

Nothing happened. Uninstalled bluesoleil, rebooted computer and inserted adapter. An Add Hardware Wizard window popped-up. Selected Install software automaticaly, but nothing happened. in  troubleshooter I gain this error:

This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)

I'd suggest for starters getting a much newer version of bluesoleil as that ones pretty much ancient nowadays.  Download the following file and check to see if your adapters compatible with the newer versions: http://www.bluesoleil.com/download/download.asp?resoure=6
Most of the adapters that came with that version are knockoffs with an unlicensed version.  You could also download the trial version off their website.  http://www.bluesoleil.com/
