Hi there,

Hi have the above wireless network card, running with vista premium 32 bit edition. It was running fine of a dlink router but I have since changed to Orcon and have their siemens gigaset sx 765 router and the card is not working at all... the green indicator light is not on (but i assume it only comes on when connected and data is being transfered) but it wont find any networks at all now. Under device manager and properties of the wireless network it all say everythings enabled and that the device is working properly.. I'm considering binning it and buying another since the utility software doesn't work with vista anyway, but would appreciate any help or suggestions anyway.

Thanks a lot

Also the SSID is not hidden, so the card should just pick up the network automatically

Check the following
 - AP and card are both set for the same 802.11 standard (a/b/g)
 - Any directional antennas are pointing in the right direction
 - All radios are enabled
 - No metal/moisture laden barriers between AP & client
 - Initially test with client and AP at same height.

Can you connect the radio card to the old AP?
Can you detect the new AP using any other clients?
