Hi!

I have an USB wireless LAN adapter: http://www.c1com.co.nz/shop/step1.php?number=5923

The description says W98, Me, XP, it does not say anything about Vista. I got the adapter thinking Vista is "the smartest kid around" and will know what to do with it. But it proved to be dumber than XP and it is asking for a driver. The XP driver was not accepted by Vista (I didn't really expected the XP driver to work, but I had to try...)

Can anyone, please, help with this?
Is this ever going to run in Vista, or I just need to get a diferent model / make ??

Please!!

You have to ask the manufacturer if there's a Windows Vista driver avaialble - it's up to the manufacturer to update their drivers. The OS can be the smartest one in the world but drivers are still a third party responsibility.

Good luck.. Cameo removed all their drivers some time ago.  You can do a google search on them but chances are you'll be out of luck.  Heres their website:  http://www.cameo.com.tw/  You might be able to email them asking for them..
