Hi All,

Recently found these forums and am hoping someone here can help ;)

I recently bought a BT dongle which came with the BlueSoleil software. I've got this installed and working fine with both my PDA and my BT headset, but am having a little problem whenever I connect the headset for use as an audio device (for teamspeak).

It all works fine, BUT, when the headset connects, the PC switches ALL audio hardware over to the Bluetooth Audio device, so all sound is immediately routed to the headset. Not what I want at all! I have to go into the control panel and set everything back to my sound card manually!

Is there anyway to stop this happening? The software I use with the headset, TeamSpeak, Skype and Messenger, all let me specify this device to use for the audio indepentantly of Windows, so there should really be no reason for it to be changing my default audio hardware to BT...

That's the way it works - the default settings change to the Bluetooth audio drivers when the headset is connected and back when disconnected. No way to change this.

Hmmm.... OK, thanks for the info...

Seems counter-intuitive to me to just change it, should at least be an option in the driver software so you can stop it. I can't see many people wanting to route their entire PC output to a tinny little headset! ;)

I can see people wanting to route the audio output from specific applications to a headset, but ALL of it?

Oh well... Guess I need to write a little applet to switch it back then... :( How annoying!
