I would like to use a BT headset with my IBM T30 (which has the built-in BT Daughter Card). It appears to use the default Windows BT stack and does not have support for Headset or Audio Gateway.

1) How do I get BT drivers that support the service that I need (the IBM T41 drivers provide the Headset service. Will they work on the T30?)

2) How do I install them on this version of the IBM T30?

Thanks Manel

After further checking, I have found that the driver that IBM supplies is a Widcomm stack ver 1.4.2.18 (not sure if this is the IBM ver or Widcomm ver#).

However, I still do not have Headset or Audio Gateway capability. Is this due to a lack of hardware support for these services or do I just need a different driver.

Please Help,
Manel

This is the Widcomm version - I have 1.4.2.18 with a TDK adapter and headset works fine. It can be a problem with hardware. For example some old Belkin adapters are known to not work with headsets even if the software allows it, due to some hardware/firmware problem. It sounds similar to your problem.

The 1.4.2.18 drivers are pretty up-to-date for current devices.
