I have an Ipaq 4150 and would like to use it as a bluetooth adapter for my xp desktop in lieu of purchasing a seperate BT dongle. Can this be accomplished?

Welcome to Geekzone... It is not possible to do what you are thinking. To add Bluetooth to a PC you need either a USB or a PC Card adapter (or a motherboard with built-in Bluetooth).

OK, so I have the same dream. I have already added a USB bluetooth adapter and have successfully paired it with my Tungsten T3. NOW what would be cool is a way to use the T3 to take command of my land line desktop phone (using the modem maybe?) select a phone number from my Tungsten, then have the PC dial the number. I then pick up the handset (or BT earpiece?!?!?) and start talking. I get to use one directory from my T3 to do all my dialing, land line or cell line. Possible?
