Hi - I am new to Bluetooth & don't really know what it all is all about to be honest.
But my wife has several photos on her vodafone mobile and we want to download them on to our PC. A lady at Vodafone said if we have bluetooth on our PC then it will automatically 'pick them up' on our PC??
I checked our PC (2007 Compaq with windows XP) and it doesn't have bluetooth.

So my question is - what is bloetooth and where can I download it?

any help would be much appreciated!

thanks

Why not just PXT the pictures straight to your Email address. Instead of putting a mobile number in the " to " field put the email address you wish to send them to

20 cents per PXT to email

You will need to buy a Bluetooth adapter. Most laptops have Bluetooth built in but it's very care for a desktop PC.

There are plenty of retailers who sell Bluetooth adapters but you'll probably pay $40+ for one. Visit Trademe and you'll probably pay $10 - $15, visit dealextreme.com and you'll pay around NZ$3.50 including shipping to New Zealand for the exact same thing.

You can then pair your phone with your PC and transfer images from the phone to the PC.
