Hi all! First of all I'd like to sate what a great resourse this site is. Incredible info. :)

My problem: I have a Windigo USB BT adapter that came with the Blue Manager software. Unfortunatly my particular needs with this dongle involve the use of the Widcomm software. I need this so I can use the computer as a headset.
I've installed a few versions of Widcomm but neither one was working properly.
I've searced this forum, went through Jon's guide, but still no luck.

Can anyone please help me make this Windigo work with Widcomm?

Welcome to Geekzone!

In my view the easiest way is to return this adapter and purchase another one with the proper drivers. Hacking through the drivers will not be something that will work efortlessly.

I can't return the device, as it's working properly...and they refuse to refund me, or exchange the product...not very nice of them since it wasn't written anywhere on the box that it uses Blue Manger.

So, you were saying something about hacking the drivers...?

You could put it on an online auction and reduce your loss. I don't recommend changing the drivers - and we don't have the instructions here, since this would be a license and copyright violations.
