Hi,

I have a Compaq iPAQ 3850 with a Compaq WL110 card.

It has previously worked fine with an 802.11b network.

I am now trying to connect to a D-Link Di-624.

If I turn WEP off then I can connect, but if I use 64 or 128 bit WEP then I can't connect.

The status screen shows the correct channel for the SSID (and changes if I change the channel) but the 'Network:' line just shows 'Searching'.

I have seen similar posts from a year or so back, but so far haven't found a solution.

Can anyone remember how to solve this?

TIA

Dave R

Are you using the latest WL110 driver for Pocket PC 2002?

The description on this one says (under fixes) "Allows the Wireless PC Card to be used with WEP and 802.1x encrypted access points", so I guess anything before this version wasn't connecting to WEP enabled AP or wass faulty.

Downloading this just in case, but the WL110 has worked previously with 128 bit WEP with 802.11b APs.

I couldn't find a driver for the WL110 and WM2003, but it should work with other cards (providing you can find the driver, that is)...
