Hi,

I am using a sweex bluetooth dongle, win xp prof sp2.
With help of this formum I got the widcomm drivers to work okay (nice white bluetooth icon in the taskbar).

other devices (pda) can detect my computer, When paired i can do "nothing" with the connection.

my computer can NOT detect any device.

if i do a search for all devices (with the widcomm bluetooth setup) it sometimes says:

"your bluetooth device could not start the search for devices"

The "save power" on the usb hubs are off ,
i tried with and without firewall

on another computer (where I bought the device) it WILL find other devices (don't which os)

Any ideas?

Are you sure the devices are both set to "Discoverable" (or "Visible")? Also, make sure your USB dongle is directly connected to a USB port, not to a USB HUB.
