Hi guys I brought the above dsl modem/router and since using it I have had nothing but problems, am using Telstraclear PDQ account, previous dlink setup had no problems.

I don't seem to lose my local network connection via ethernet or wifi but it seems the internet just drops of every 10min for around 30 seconds. Never noticed it for a long time because I was just browsing web pages but since playing online gaming it driving me nuts.

Anyone have any ideas where to start, even just the correct telstra clear settings would be handy.

Am using PPOA
VC/MUX

Any way I can check to see if it is a faulty modem or just some setting I need to change.

Do you still have the dlink?  If you can test with that you can rule out a problem with the line/house wiring.

For the N11

You should be able to see the line stats in the routers admin ui somewhere (SNR, Downstream attenuation etc), what does that show?

Also you should be able to find out the firmware version it will be listed in the admin ui somewhere.  The latest is 2.0.1.0 according to the Asus site.  So updating the firmware may resolve the problem if you're running an older buggy version.
