Hey guys~!!!
Hope someone here can help, got myself a problem, have had a BT adapter for almost a year now, and has worked without problems at all(once i got the darn Widcomm driver to install properly, stupid SP2), but i got a headset this year for christmas, so that i can communicate via Roger Wilco to frinds i play with over the internet, problem is, Roger Wilco works fine with BT headset, nice, loud, clear, everything, but the second i start up the game, Battlefield 2, i lose the BT headset. I have tried making the BT prgograms i can find a higher CPU priority in Taskl manager, but the windows BT service won't allow a change in priority, and it doesn't makea difference in the other 2 programs. what can i do to make it so the headset doesn't dopr out when BF2 starts up? Any help would be appreciated, please guys. oh, forgot to tell you what i have, i've got a Linksys BT100 Adapter and a Bluetrek G2 headset, XP SP2.

Welcome to Geekzone... This is a tough one. You realise that using the Bluetooth headset you will have only mono sound, and all the nice stereo sound from the game will be lost?

Perhaps the game is using DirectSound or something and changing the default Windows sound device on startup?

that's the beauty of Roger wilco, i can set Rog Wil to BT settings and stil have the game thru my sound card, so it runs like 2 separate soundcards. it works fine until i start up BF2 then it drops my BT Headset, though if i Alt tab back to WINdows, it says the Headset is still connected, but i have to shut down Rog Wil and restart the Headset connection to get Rog Wil to work again. Rog Wil works fine under a normal microphone setting, and also fine under BT i get my frineds thru my Headset but COmputer sounds thru my speakers, it only does it when i start the game.
