I have a nokia 6600 and HP nc6120 with windows XP professional.

Laptop to Phone..I am able to send photos...

Phone to Laptop-- I am getting "sending failed"...

In "My Bluetooth Services" in my laptop PIM Transfer and File Transfer both are activated. For PIM transfer. everything is set up as "save in Folder" and the folder exists.
I am not able to transfer Business cards or Photos from Phone to PC.
Any Advice would be helpful.

The only things I can think are firewall software blocking the Bluetooth software on the PC, and the permissions on the File Transfer folder are not allowing the Bluetooth software to write into it.

You can try either changing permissions on that folder to be Full Control to Everyone, or if you can't change permissions, then perhaps create a new folder outside your private My Documents area (perhaps \temp\bt transfer) and change the Bluetooth configuration to use this new folder.

Hi Frietasm

I changes the folder to another location and still I am getting this problem. Also I do not have any firewall on my laptop. Anyways where can i check to confirm. I also do not have any anti Virus or anything.

When I am transferring a photo from Phone to PC , the PIM Transfer icon activates . In Bluettoth Activity, I can see that the signal is strong and there are some bytes sent and recieved but after some time message appears on the phone "Sending Failed!".

All the folders have the read only check box in windows. The check box has three options
a) uncheck
b) partially check(Grayish color)
c)check

In my laptop for some reason all folders are partially check even the empty folders. Could this be a problem...
